Klap

Klap is a video repurposing service that generates short-form vertical clips from long-form content. Users provide a YouTube link or upload a video file, and its AI editing system extracts distinct topics to create multiple segments. The platform addresses the manual editing bottleneck with functions like auto-reframing, which keeps the subject centered, and the generation of customizable captions. It assigns a "viral score" to each clip to aid content selection before users export high-resolution files or publish directly to social platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. The service is built for content creators, podcasters, and marketing teams needing to populate channels like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. A primary use case involves uploading a single long-form interview or webinar to receive numerous distinct clips, which can then be scheduled for release. This workflow supports a consistent posting cadence without the overhead of manual video editing. Brand consistency is maintained through customization options for fonts, colors, and logos applied to the captions, ensuring all output aligns with established visual identities.
