Milanote

Milanote is a visual organization tool that functions as a flexible digital workspace for creative projects. Users operate within "boards" where they can input and arrange various media types, including text notes, images, videos, sketches, and files. The system supports simple text editing and includes a web clipper for saving links and content directly from a browser. The primary output is a shareable visual board where elements can be spatially organized, connected with lines, and grouped into columns. Collaboration is managed through invitations, allowing other users to view, comment on, or edit a board. The software is built for creative professionals such as designers, writers, filmmakers, and marketers. For a design team, a typical production workflow involves creating a mood board by collecting visual references, color palettes, and typographic examples to define a project's aesthetic. A writer or content creator can use the tool to outline a story by developing character profiles, mapping plot points, and consolidating research materials and script drafts into a single, visually structured project space for pre-production planning.
